Sharp’s Nantucket Compass quilt reminds us of the sand and faded reds of Nantucket Island. This variation on the traditional Mariner’s Compass pattern incorporates gold, navy, and red, reminding us of New England. Each “compass” is set on a deep faded gold and is bordered with a navy, red, and gold print. This design features nine outer borders in fabrics from the center. The reverse is done in a solid navy, which accentuates the detailed hand quilting and bears Donna Sharp’s embroidered signature and date. This pattern is generously sized for additional luxury. |
